The Medicaid Waiver, sometimes referred to the Med Waiver Program, is a way the state of Tennessee can use Medicaid dollars for services of people with intellectual developmental disabilities.
Katie Beckett Waiver
Tennessee’s Katie Beckett program is for children under the age of 18 with disabilities or complex medical needs. This program is for children who are not Medicaid eligible because of their parent’s income or assets.
TN Strong Families HRA
Tennessee Strong Families HRA helps kids who have an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) and are currently in Tennessee state custody by providing flexible funding so families can pay for needed services and supports.
